  • Q. How long have you been refinishing bathtubs, wall tile, and fiberglass?

    A. We have been refinishing for over 25 years now.


  • Q. What products do you use?

    A. We, at American Refinishing Inc, use a product made especially for us. We're a franchise, so our product is not available anywhere else. Our material is a polyester resin that will not yellow, crack, dry out, and get brittle. The formula is made for constant water use, which means it will last a long time.

  • Q. Can a refinished bathtub be redone?

    A. Yes, we would strip the existing finish and then use our process to restore your fixture.


  • Q. How long does your product last on bathtubs?

    A. I have had customers call back anywhere between 12 to 15 years to have our process repeated. Wall tile and fiberglass last even longer.


  • Q. Do we subcontract our work out?

    A. No, we are a family-owned and operated business. We're just father and son.


  • Q. What does refinishing a bathtub and the pricing include?

    A. We'll pull out the caulking and put in new, repair any chips, remove stains, clean out, seal rust, and non-slip bottoms upon request. Limited warranties available.


  • Q. What products can we use to clean a refinished tub, tile, and fiberglass?

    A. Lots of products are fine to use. You don't want to use an abrasive, like comet powder. You can use Dow Foam Spray, Lysol Tub & Tile cleaner, and Scrub Free cleaner are just a few. Show the technician what you already have and he'll make suggestions.
